Getting this trip off the ground was a little too exciting. I missed the requirement to get an NZeTA (electronic travel authority) or Visa. Frantically, we downloaded the app and submitted our applications. Mary was approved within 5 minutes. My approval was pending for what seemed like forever. With 45 minutes left before departure, I was approved, we received boarding passes and raced to the gate. On board as I write this note looking forward to a Woodford on ice.
